Manchester City vs Arsenal Preview, Team News & Lineups – Premier League 17/06/2020

The English Premier League is finally back on Wednesday and we’re off with a bang when Manchester City host Arsenal at the Etihad

And it is definitely in one of the two games that re-starts the Premier League after the break due to the Pandemic

Meanwhile, A loss against Arsenal would give Liverpool the chance to win it already on Sunday against Everton at Goodison Park

and with over three months of wait for the Premier League to be back it would be somewhat laughable if it all pretty much ended before it had fully re-started.

Manchester City should be able to come out flying in this game

and forget any stats from the Bundesliga about home teams being less favourable without their fans. Manchester City is just a superior team.

Kun Aguero’s record against Arsenal could see him chosen to lead the line ahead of Gabriel Jesus, with the Argentine netting 11 times from 15 appearances in this fixture.

Arsenal have also seen a number of injury concerns clear up in the time off

with Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney back available and loanee Cedric Soares finally in contention to make his debut.

It is now almost a year since Leroy Sane last played for Man City in the Community Shield in August

but the German winger is now ready to return having missed the entire 2019-20 campaign so far.

And with Kevin De Bruyne, Aymeric Laporte and Sergio Aguero having all long shaken off knocks they were carrying prior to lockdown.
